hello there.

Well, whaddya wanna know?  Here's the plain and simple truth:  My name is Rebekah Tennis and I love design.  I love paper, the way it feels, its weight and texture.  I love extra special touches on little things: homemade tags on gift-wrap, old stamps on an envelope, and twine on nearly everything.

My husband, business partner and all-around solid rock Matt would probably tell you that he likes tools - lots of 'em, finding the perfect way to do something, taking things apart, and precision in everything.

So you might as well have guessed by now... we are the perfect match for an old letterpress studio. Together we farm rice and have a small but adorable three-year old son, Cameron, and a chubby one year old, Lance.  This keeps us fairly busy, but whenever we have a spare moment, we crank up our 102 year old Chandler and Price platen press and pull some prints.

There's more, oh yes, there IS more - but that's what this blog is for.  Take a look around, get to know us, our great town of Chico, California and our beautiful presses.

very merry christmas home.

It’s probably a little late for this post. In fact, it’s definitely too late for this post. I’m supposed to be one of those put-together, organized bloggers who gives you 30 handmade Christmas ideas by December 2nd, and pre-decorates their house for Christmas in November all so they can photograph it and share it with...

I did take down my Christmas decorations by New Year, and added a few warm/winter-white touches. And there it stayed until around April, I added some bits of pale green and...

{ a new rug. }

Okay, so I blinked, and somehow the month of July was over. Poof! Woosh! Kerplunk! Gone. Please don’t tell me (much as I love fall) that summer is half over already. I just need a bit more time. Anyway, lots of catchup to do with you here! We’ve been printing, working like gangbusters in our...

sparkly & natural: { christmas decor }

It’s here… finally!  The post on our Christmas decor! I’ve been meaning to do a post on this for about two weeks now, and I’m sure all of you have decorated your trees and moved on.  Oh, and you’ve finished your Christmas shopping, sent your cards, made all of your meal plans, travel plans, baked...

{feels like autumn now.}

Here’s the big reveal!!! Um, okay it’s not that big.  I moved a few things around, took a couple things away, added other things, and cozied everything in general a bit.  But let’s take a look anyway! That’s the overview!  Hopefully warm and cozy and bright and neutral.  Now onto my favorite part, the vignettes…...

fall decor… the process.

Is it Friday already?  Crazy!  I’ve got three posts to toss your way today… that’s right, THREE, my friends.  I promised some fall decor, right?  And here I am delivering. I thought it might be fun to give a glimpse of the “in-between” stage – my house looked like this for two whole days.  See,...
