hello there.

Well, whaddya wanna know?  Here's the plain and simple truth:  My name is Rebekah Tennis and I love design.  I love paper, the way it feels, its weight and texture.  I love extra special touches on little things: homemade tags on gift-wrap, old stamps on an envelope, and twine on nearly everything.

My husband, business partner and all-around solid rock Matt would probably tell you that he likes tools - lots of 'em, finding the perfect way to do something, taking things apart, and precision in everything. 

So you might as well have guessed by now... we are the perfect match for an old letterpress studio. Together we farm rice and have a small but adorable three-year old son, Cameron, and a chubby one year old, Lance.  This keeps us fairly busy, but whenever we have a spare moment, we crank up our 102 year old Chandler and Price platen press and pull some prints.

I figured I’d better post the instagram summary for September before it becomes November! I was a little photo-light this month, and it seems like such a long, long time has passed since Labor Day Weekend at our family cabin.

{ A masterful method for crisp potatoes, made by a friend. I googled it, it’s called shingled potatoes. Delicious. }

{ Kayaks by the lake. Kayaking is one of my favorite summer things. }

{ Enloe Flightcare filmed a commercial at our family ranch = the boys got to see inside a really cool helicopter. }

{ My photo count in iPhoto is up to 41,777. 10 years of photos. In other news, I’m ridiculously fond of that program. }

{ Our Holiday Catalog went out, nearly on time! Yay! }

{ Less than a week before we flew to Korea, we were unaware of our impending travels, and camping at the happiest place on earth. Lassen. }

{ I LOVE that Cameron loves board games. Now if only I could get him to follow the rules… }

    October 29, 2012 - 10:46 am Krystal - So lovely to see that you are so focused on your family, a beautiful one at that! Quick question, what is the board game Cameron is playing? It looks like it is geography related. My husband likes anything geography related!

    November 2, 2012 - 3:41 pm rebekah - Hi Krystal! I tried to send you an email but it bounced back. The game is called Ticket to Ride - it's a train game and yes, geographical (they have USA and Europe versions). The real version (with rules) is fun for all ages almost!
